PDF Splitter

Extract pages or ranges from a PDF, in your browser.

What does this do?

Pull selected pages out of a PDF into a new file. Two modes: range (give a list like 1-3,7,9-12 and get back one PDF) or singles (every page becomes its own file).

How do I write a page range?

  • Single pages: 1,3,5
  • Continuous ranges: 1-5
  • Mixed: 1-3,5,9-12
  • Reversed ranges (5-3) are accepted and reordered low → high

What happens to bookmarks, links, or form fields?

Pages are copied with their content streams and visible annotations intact. Document-level structure (table of contents, outline bookmarks) is not preserved when extracting a subset — the destination PDF gets a fresh, empty outline.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib.
